I had never given very much thought into the complexities of boarding dogs. When I was younger I didn’t have a pet, but I had always longed for one. I was envious of all the other boys and girls who had dogs, and when ever I would get a chance I would go over and pet their dogs. My parents, however, hated dogs. They didn’t like dealing with the mess, if you get my meaning, and in addition they didn’t believe me when I said I’d take care of it. (more…)
